The Enneagram (ennea – 9; gram – points)
explores nine different patterns of personality that
developed early in life. Every person is unique.
However, there are patterns of personality that are
similar regardless of age, culture, sex and life
experience. The Enneagram is a useful tool to understand
why we respond to situations in life in a particular
way and why others do so differently.
Rather than place anyone in a box, the Enneagram
can show us where we automatically and unconsciously ‘box
ourselves in’ time after time. It gives profound
insights into the real differences, motivations,
desires, fears, strengths and limitations that exist
among human beings. Many people have found
these insights personally freeing and life changing.
